We finally had a nice sunny day to do a little beach walking, it was still on the chilly side but the sun was out. We were coming back from Pensacola and noticed this little boardwalk right near the Florida-Alabama border, it took about 10 minutes to figure out how to get to the parking lot but it was worth it. About a 1/4 of a mile walk out to the end, which was a very nice sandy beach, I imagine that this place is packed during the summer since there are about 100,000 condos within a ten mile drive.

Winter on the Gulf Coast
OK! if might not be quite this cold down here but it got pretty close to it the other night. We had about a week of the high 70's to low 80's then the next morning when I got up it was 47 degrees, 30 minutes later it was 39 degrees and raining. Guess who never stepped foot outside the motor home that day. Right now looking at the weather forecast its not going to get back to the 60's for at least another week.
We have about another 10 days here in Alabama then we head back to DeFuniak Springs, should be the same weather as here since it's only about 120 miles due East. We'll be there for ten days and then we start our journey north to Chattanooga so we can leave the rig and drive the car up to the kids house for a week or so.
Well that's about it for now, more when the weather breaks and we can get outside.
